Hey Rob,

I have one of these from an old winch line that needed to be cut. Can the thimble be re-used on the end of another rope? I'll do some research but thought you might be able to provide some insight.

I used it on mine, there are instructions that come with the new Thimble on how to undo the line and re do after placed on the thimble.

I did it, so that speaks volumes on how easy is to do it *LOL*

Yes, you can re-use the thimble on another rope.

I snapped a line and had it made into two extension with small eyelets for easy storage, thats how I ended up with the thimble.

If anyone is nervous re-threading or doesn't want the hassle, I used this guy to do the work for me.
