I just put my 2000 Land Rover Discovery 2 up for sale on autotrader, but would much rather have an enthusiast as the next owner than anyone else. The car has 145k miles--all mileage excluding 4k were applied by the previous owners (1st owner bought it new, traded it in at Land Rover---second owner bought used and sold to me) All mileage is highway mileage due to the two previous owners travels for their professions. NEVER OFFROADED. Pampered and garage kept. Washed and waxed usually once a week. Driven like a grandmother would and taken care of like it were my first born, by the previous owners as well. I would like to get an 04 so in order to do that I must sell, but it is hard to part with! I love the color, and the car is in perfect mechanical/physical condition. It has always been maintained by landrover, and has all the appropriate preventative maintenance performed----feel free to take it to a dealership and double check.

Thanks for the compliment, and you are probably right---I looked up numerous rovers on autotrader and kinda just set a price in the general area---I put OBO for that reason, to let people know that I am willing to negotiate Thank you!

Looks great. I love that color. Have you looked at the kbb.com or edmunds values with the mileage? I find that the average between these in the private party section is where things usually sell for here.

Thank you, yeah the color is my favorite that is the biggest part I will miss. I did look at those values, If I remember correctly it was 9k or so, but I was recommended to ask for slightly more-----I have OBO on there, because I really mean OBO----I simply dont want to trade it in and take that kinda loss, I would like to sell it quickly so I can get an 04!!!! thank you for your compliments and suggestions
