It's doable, but, I've not done it, so I can't say how hard it is....


Most old Series chassis are rusty anyway, so, most people just swap to a less-rusty Rangie chassis, which would already have the axles w/ the disc brakes under it.....


Start surfing, looking for "hybrid" rovers.....

SK, yeah, ECR is what got me interested in coiling my '68 swb. Fortunately Leslie, my frame is in great shape. I've personal totally dissassembled the old gal and redone everything. Now wanting the coils instead of the parabolics. Appreciate the replies guys.

The ECR coil swap is from Designa Chasis in the UK. You can get an idea of what is different by visiting their site. Unfortunately, ECR is their sole distributor in the US so they pretty much have a lock on the price.
