Friends I greatly need your votes for a family project

Okay so lots of guys are on facebook and I need a help with a vote for a project that my wife and I are very passionate about here in our area. Many of the East Coast guys know that I regularly sponsor trail cleanups as well as do them on our own. Now we are trying to get our message out even farther. What I need is for you to vote once per day for our project, and spread the word.
Here are the details.

Hi!!! I just wanted to share that my project about the cigarette butts that we have been picking up off of Wrightsville Beach: "Our Daily Ocean: A Story of Butts" has been chosen as a finalist in the Brita FilterforGood Film Project!!!!!! Yes, I am doing a happy dance!!! Starting today, October 11, until October 29 you can vote once per day for my project!!! Please check out the fwd'd email and follow the link that says "click here" to see my project. Also... PLEASE vote, share my project and ask your friends to vote too!!

I always loved the high tide line on Onslow Beach, if you sort through the butts occasionally you can find some nice sharks teeth......

I hate scum bags who snuff out a butt in the sand and leave it, or chuck one out the window at a stop light.

We teach our guys to "field strip" their butts by rolling out the cherry and putting the butt in your pocket. Pack it in, pack it out.

I guess its too hard to pick up after your self....

On the occasions I smoke, I go to great pains to avoid smelling of smoke, and I am successful in that regard. Until I light one, nobody can tell that I ever do. I also make a point never to smoke in a vehicle.

Ranger rolling is out of the question.

That said, a soda bottle quarter-filled with water keeps any litter at bay. It's not that damned difficult to dispose of what's left.

It does, however, require some attention to detail to keep any evidence of smoking away from the untrained eye. Exceptional personal hygiene is the start. It's the little things, however, that make the difference throughout a day of smoking.

Just voted....about 8 years ago a guy I know watched a guy at his condo complex throw his butts into the area lansdscape, out his window, just everywhere. So one night he gathered up as mnay butts as he could find. He said he found hundreds all over, then waited for the day the obnoxious smoker left his window down. He poured all the butts into the car and left.

He left a note that said, "We all found out way back to your, father." Classic.

I found out today that there was a "glitch" with the voting system for my project. They have the glitch fixed, BUT... they have CLEARED all votes. Please Please Please recast your vote and encourage others to recast their votes as well. I am extremely grateful for all of the support that I've received for this project!!

Just voted - Aaron, be sure to bump this every day through the 29th to remind us.

I'm an occasional smoker but always put my butts in my pocket if I'm not near an ashtray or trash can. Watching people just flick their butts onto the ground or especially out their car window drives me freaking nuts. Great way to start fires out here in the desert.
