Is there something I'm missing here? I'm putting in a new window regulator on my driverside window. The motor mounts onto the regulator itself but how do you know where abouts the motor should be positioned on the teeth so that when you put the regulator back in, the bolt holes all match up. Right not I've got the motor mounted at the top of the half moon but when I put the regulator back in, the holes don't match up.

Did I do something wrong or get something backwards? The shop manual doesn't say anything about having to position the motor in any specific spot. My assumption is that once you have the window all the way up, the motor will be at the top of the half moon (orientated with the motor facing you).

Any help would be appreciated. I have a disassembled door that I'd like to put back together sometime soon.

Thanks.

Finally figured it out.

Yea it's the right one. I just didn't see the guides near the top that I was supposed to line up with. Even then though I had to do a tiny adjustment (move by a couple teeth) before everything lined up but it's not like a glove. But then again, I noticed the previous one showed some wear patterns around the holes where it didn't fit perfectly either. It's in now and everything works.

Thanks for the reply.
