Front Cig. Lighter Question

Hey everyone,

I like to know if other have difficulty plug things into the fron cig/power point on a D2? Every item i have, such as cell phone adapter wont stay plugged in? Any thoughts?

Several items also fall out of my D1 hole.
I need to replace mine.
One day the plastic inner shell broke into several pieces and now everything is loose.

When I replace mine I will make it always on. Easier to deal with when charging the cell phone and using the GPS.

My Passport came with a "European lighter adapter" which I use, I also have an adapter that came with another device (I think it was a Y adapter or extension cord from Radio Shack). It is essentially a plastic sleeve with slots for the metal springs.
