right. thanks. still need a used front d/s. its a back-up--ive got some fairly new u joints and want to have a full back up. thanks trev.

Do not put a used front drive shaft on a D2.

New ones are $300 and you automatically save the cost of a trani, install and a new driveshaft in a few months

I don't see any reason to not get a used one, as long as you replace the u-joints and centering ball before you install it.

As far as used. There are people giving shafts away, or at least selling them cheap. Even if you paid $100 for a used shaft. New Joints and ball for $90-$100 for precision. I'm just saying it's an option.
