Front Driver Brake Leak

Short drive today. Pedal went soft and pulled hard to the right. After pulling in the garage and checking it looks like someone poured brake fluid on the coil spring and fender well. There?s a puddle on the rim. No leaks at master cylinder or ABS. Everything is dry as a Rover can be under the hood. Not at the bleeder screw and all connections seem dry. Had my daughter hit the pedal a few times and didn?t see anything spraying or dripping?

Any thoughts? Pressurize with the power bleeder?

Sounds like the line has an issue.

Anyways, my approach would be to hose down the area with brake cleaner and then locate the leak. I'd try it first without pressurizing, and if you can't find it that way, then add a little pressure. The point is to find the leak, and not hide it again by blasting fluid all over the place again.

Wiped it and sprayed it down. Had the wife try the brakes. Dripping down the rotor. Guessing it’s the caliper. Probably time to replace their original. It’s a ‘98 D1.
