Oh I could get any of them out. But a new one getting in the old hole will be a problem. I can't weld so I would not be able to replace the bung hole.

Sorry , I saw an opportunity to say bung hole and had to do it

Next time i need something like that i'm gonna take you up on that. If those are your welds on that sewer cover on the axle pic your my new welder.

I think the pic you're referring to is actually Thom's (MuskyMan) truck. I don't have a build thread here, but I have sewer capped my diffs. I'm still working on making the welds look pretty but I'm confident in their integrity.

You posted a pic of your truck one time in some thread and it linked to a whole slide show. That looked like a really cool truck. Then someone posted about the sewer caps in the high school build thread. Those welds in that photo looked really good. Thought that was your post.

That's Thom's truck.
I finished welding on my sewer caps but haven't taken any pics yet. A lot of the pics in my "'95 build" Photobucket album aren't mine. I'm kind of using that album as a folder to store ideas and things I like till I actually get around to that part of the build. I also got the braided SS refrigerator line for axle breathers from Thom.
As for welding, I started off practicing on scraps of metal, then moved on to less critical things like sewer caps, then I will finally tackle components like trailing arms and frame mounts. :)

If all those pics in the photo bucket deal come together that would be a cool truck. I'm trying to start retiring slowly and spend some time building some shit. I came across a 76 olds cutlass just north of fox lake on 12. Looks like somebody quit working on it or died. If the paint wasn't done in some gay purple I would have done it. I'm piling up parts to make my next disco. But don't have the disco. With my luck I'm gonna find an old LP and want that instead. I work 4 days 32 hrs a week. Next will be 3 days.

Ya those pics of the sewer caps.

Some of the stuff in that album I've already written off. Like the RHD knuckle/crossover steering and Chevy TRE stuff. I'd like to do a paint scheme with a stripe down the side but IDK. I'll get after if after I finish my basement.

You know anybody reasonable that does sandblasting?

No I think the people I have powder coat just deal with that stuff. My buddy hamza bead blasting cabinet. I know one guy starting out in coating stuff. Gotta believe he does some blasting first.

I need some bumpers and sliders blasted before I paint them. Gotta find someone that won't bend me over.
