I was wondering if anyone had fit any front spring spacers onto their Disco II to level it out and to enable more room for larger tires. If so it would help me to know where to find these and any help on installation possible. Thanks

Do you have a lift, if so which one? You can get up to 3" on the DII without front spacers.
If you just want to level the vehicle then use the rubberized spring isolators (ANR2938). They're cheap and effective for leveling the front. What size tires are you trying fit, and what size do you have now?

I dont have a lift and im just trying to level out the front end of the vehicle and hopefully fit 265/75/16s with a little more room in the wheel wells. Are the rubber isolators able to be stacked?

Mate,

You would really need to consider a lift before putting 265/75's on. They are so close to rubbing (but never do) with a 2" lift, I'd hate to think what would happen if they did.

Spend the money on the lift, its worth it.

cheers

thanks... are you running OME springs and shocks? I'm interested to know what your set-up is. How does your Disco handle on the highway? I'm anxious to lift but my previous ride i lifted and it drove awful on the highway and i just dont want to do anything to ruin its stock handling. any help is greatly appreciated. thank you

I had a 2" OME lift and never had any handling problems on the highway even with sway bars removed. It's a pretty inexpensive lift (as is the 3" which I have now) and well worth it. I had 265/75R16's on with the 2" lift and had no rubbing issues.

I put a set os used stock D1 rear springs (Free) on the front and a set of EE spacers on the back for a grand total of 70 bucks. 1.75" up in front and 1.5" in the back the winch should level it out front to back, and as for the ride it is a bit stiffer in the front and allows the truck to corner like a fine german road car and in the rear there is no change. If you offroad without the sway bar in the front you get an extra inch of wheel drop at least, I won't know the total drop until I get the new shocks.

I will be putting on new shocks and a set of 265's shortly and I don't forsee any issues.
