Recently installed RTE 2" lift springs and Terrafirma +2 shocks. Removed the rear sway bar completely and want to figure out how to setup quick disconnects for the front swaybar. I have found the articles with how to make your own disconnects, but what i want to know is do you put disconnects on both sides and tie the sway bar up to something to keep it out of the way while wheeling or just put the disconnect on one side and let the sway bar stay connected to the other side of the axle? Couldn't find any definite answers searching Dweb or other sites. Thanks!

I just let the front hang. Nowhere for it to go really. I'm running the same springs on my D1 and completely removed the front sway, too. Haven't had any problems in doing so.
If you end up wanting a set I have one available. $10 shipped. PM if interested.

Hey FishEH, do you have disconnects you're willing to let go of for $10? or the whole front sway bar? Sorry, not clear in your post.

I guess what i'm asking is that when you disconnected the front sway bar with the quick disconnects, did you just disconnect just one side or both sides? I'm just assuming by your post that you took off both sides and let the sway just sit there??? This is what i want to clear up.

Thanks!

Sorry. Yes I have a set of the front disconnects for $10 shipped. I do have the front sway bar lying in my garage you could have but I doubt its worth the shipping cost. :)
Yes, I disconnected both sides of the front swaybar. It just kind of sits there as it really has no place to go.
