Front wheel bearing...

I was driving down the road at about 70mph and the truck started to pull real bad, I thought I had a blowout. Got to a well lit area and saw no flat tires, but felt something wrong with the front end.

Jacked it up and the right front wheel is very hard to turn. I guess my bearing went out. Am I right? What is the name of the bearing I am needing? Is it the "Hub Bearing"? I don't see a tech write up for it, am I blind or is there a better place to look?

Trouble is, I was on a long section of construction and had no shoulder to stop on, so I drove for at least 1/2 mile before I could stop.

Wheel bearings/hub bearings are same-same. Could be that, could be a frozen caliper. You'll have to pull it apart to tell. Napa should have the bearings you need if that's the case.

Timken SET37 is the part #. You need two per wheel. Better get it towed if its still there, or you risk welding your hub to the spindle, which will be a big pain to deal with.

It's a D1, yea, I'm about 70 miles from home, so I limped to a Ramada. I am still here waiting on a trailer.

You may be in for a big pain in the ass if the damn bearing race froze to the spindle.
