Fuel Line to Fuel Rail Quick Connect

I'm taking off the lower intake manifold as part of a headgasket change. There appears to be some sort of quick connector attaching the fuel line to the fuel rail at the back of the manifold. I can't figure out how to get it to release and the space back there is tight. There seems to be two "square" buttons on either side... do you push them in or pry them out? What gives...

yes....push line in toward the intake slightly then depress the "buttons" and wiggle it off should be a tight fit not too hard though

Actually, so far so good. Not too many suprises.... yet.
