Well gents, I got assured the extensive road test was carried out and the truck idled a long time as well. Hopefully, it makes it from Scottsdale to San Diego tomorrow...

BTW, that fuel pump driver module can be had for a single Ben Franklin - new!

Hey Peter, this is Jeff (disco1). We met at the hotel park lot in Page. I'm glad you made it home with no other issues. Cheers!

hi Jeff, good to hear from you!

Yeah, we eventually made it home. The tow truck driver almost lost it on one of I-17's curvy downgrades, but other than that... it's all money.

As a follow-on to this post.

My 2013 LR4 HSE LUX had the following symptoms: Randomly dying while driving. Same codes as Peter - P0232 and P025C. I discussed with Peter/ Jimmy and decided to replace the Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM). Jimmy and Peter were both kind enough to send some relevant documentation/ work manuals.

The FPDM is located above the driver's side rear wheel well in the cargo area. My LR4 is equip with rear AC so the swap was slightly harder. You'll need to pull the entire lower panel away to reveal the FPDM - this panel is one piece and stretches from the rear of the load space, to the bottom of the passenger door/ below the seat belt. As with all Land Rover plastic, it's brittle as shit so be careful not to snap the connectors. Once the panel is pulled away, you'll see the AC unit - the FPDM is located behind the AC unit in a really shit spot. I removed 3 M10 screws to release the AC unit from the side panel. This allows you to gently pull the AC unit forward to gain access to the FPDM. The FPDM is secured by 2 M8 nyloc/ flanged nuts and comes out pretty easily. Because the connector isn't exposed to the elements, this should come apart really easily too.

Snap in the new FPDM and reinstall all the shitty Land Rover plastic. After driving ~75 miles, the previous codes were cleared and I haven't stalled yet - I was stalling 1-2 times a day prior within ~3-5 miles.

I put one in a full size Range Rover for some similar shit. Are you sure those are the codes? I can't find them. I'm always interested in these kind of failures.
