The diaphragm failed a few days back, sending petrol out the little vent hole. I've got a rebuild kit and I've done this six or eight times over the years. But since I have so many check valves, I might as well replace those, too. Now the workshop manual just calls for "staking" the valves in place, i.e., peen over a few places on the valve's recess. Is there a better way?
