I have a yard full of cars and another rover on the way so I need to clear out some garage space for the new toy. I am in Torrington, CT. Most is too big or heavy to bother with shipping so local buyers are preferred.

Complete set of 5 of the hard to find early (Dunlop?) 15x8 steel wheels. SOLD

3 spoke range rover alloy rim in silver with a stock sized LT street tire. $25

Series 3 green bible Land rover series III repair operation manual. This book is essentially brand new. I think it arrived in the mail about 4 days before I sold my 88. and sat on a shelf ever since. RN gets $56 for it and AB gets $67. My price is $35 including media mail.

Hitch for grey market range rover. This will fit any classic rangerover that does not have the built in receiver hitch (which all the NAS rangies had) It has a ball and and pintle and according to the sticker the hitch is rated for 2-3 times what the truck is rated for. $100 plus shipping.

Sick of faulty electric windows and power locks? Complete doors from '84 4 door rangerovers. None of these are especially pretty but they’ll work great on a trail truck. All have working wind up windows. Fronts will definitely fit NAS through 88 or early 89 ( with exposed hinge) Probably fits later trucks if you swap hinges, rears should fit all 100” classics. I have fronts in black or red and rears in red. $25 each. Doors are pickup only.

Rangie Glass: Unheated windshield – a few chips but too good to trash it. on hold for armyrover

4 door rangerover rear ¼ glass. Both sides available. $20 each. 2 door rangerover side windows. I have all 4 pieces available $50 each or $175 for the complete set.

I have a ton of additional grey market range rover parts. Mostly mid 80’s 4 door but also some early 2 door.

Will trade anything listed here for good right rear 1/4 panel for 2 door rangie in original white paint.

Range rover roof panel $150- see description below.

Non-rover but still in my way:

Jeep wheels for Cherokee or wrangler yj and tj. Several random alloys and steel rims with ugly tires that hold air. OK for spares or yard use. $5 each.

Jaguar steel rim from 50s or 60s $25 with an ugly old tire on it or $35 if I have the tire pulled off.

mid 70’s Indian mini bike. Japanese bike with Italian engine. This is a step or two above a basketcase. Needs a lot but has many good features. There were several similar sized variations. This one seems to be a 70 or 75 cc but I can’t be sure. $200

VW: "Half a jetta"- NOS body panel for the driver side of a mk3 jetta. This is the Apiller, b pilla c pillar and trunk all in one piece. Has minor damage to the corner where Bottom of rear door meets bottom of wheel arch. Easy fix. This is a $300 panel if you can find one. $25.
Bay window bus middle seats 1 brown 1 black. $25 each.

Thanks for the input Brian. I'm sorry for spamming by posting my stuff for sale here.

I'm not sure what a black market rover would be. Perhaps you don't understand what a "Grey Market" rover is.

They are cars originally sold in other countries and privately imported to the US and not supported by LRNA. If you see a RHD rover, a mid 1980's 110 or 90, a 101fc, or a commercial bodied discovery, it is a grey market car. Mine started out in places like germany, italy, switzerland and venezuela. They were legally imported, registered insured and taxed. I am not sure what would be unacceptable about them.

A grey market rangerover is usually one made between 1970 and 1986. It is very rare to see a later one in the US but it happens.

Someone might choose to drive one because they prefer a stick shift. Or they want a 2 door. Or they want the coil sprung v-8 chassis but don't really need heated seats and a 16 disc cd changer. They want a suv that is more like a land rover and less like a minivan. Most people like myself who have owned both NAS rovers and earlier grey market rovers will say the grey market is more reliable.

NAS parts can usually be used if required, but correct parts can be very difficult to find in the us.

I have a lot of rover parts. Mostly early but some stuff your your truck as well. I also have a company car, 2 daily drivers, 2 antique volkswagens and 2 antique rovers that I need to store. I am out of space so it is time to thin my stockpile.

More spam. Rangerover solid roof panel fits all 100" cars. Faded red paint. This is the hard to find solid roof with no sunroof to leak on you. Nice and straight. Has a few holes drilled within the rain gutters because PO bolted their roof rack feet directly through the gutters. Not visible unless you are directly above or below them. $150 includes custom ladder rack style roof rack. ( 2 crossbars- no floor or basket)

I loved my 1985 GREY MARKET 5 speed Range Rover. Owed it for years. I also owned a couple of other GREY Market cars from the early 1980's. The oddest was a 1984 Honda Prelude EX that was originally from Austria (of all places). It had ALB, Honda's version of ABS at the time. It also had a number of other features that were not available in the US.

I guess the younger guys on this board have been fortunate enough to have lived through times when big engined Benz's and turbo charged Porsche's were always available at the dealer unlike the way it was in the 1970's and 80's.

Land Rover Hawaiian shirt by rovers north. XL $10 This shirt is brand new in the original zip lock bag as sold by Rovers North. It is green with d-90s, discoveries and rangerovers on it. I think this shirt is NLA. They have a few smalls left but no larges or extra larges. Looks like it was originally $24 or $29
