garmin GPS V

The GPS V doesn't have a video out capability. All you could do would be a serial output to a laptop running some type of mapping software.

Yeah i just hook mine up to my laptop and use the software that it came with. Its not great but it is easier to look at and it saved me from buying some better software, which i will end up doing in the not to distant future.

If you have Streets USA, or Mapsource, go get nRoute from Garmin. It's free, easier to locate stuff, and has voice guided directions (though I haven't tried it offroad).
