Garmin NRoute software now offers UK voice nav

I was just sent this update by Garmin and found it rather amusing. For those of you who use the Garmin GPS 18 sensor you can now upgrade your NRoute software with a "UK" voice guidance update via the Garmin site. How about that for a change. There's nothing like driving a Disco with a UK voice guidance navigation.

I set that up with my 276C. Pretty cool stuff. The British English voice is much nicer than the American English voice.

TomTom offers it.. I believe they say kilometers instead of miles tho!

The Nav system in Mini Coopers offers the same, American english, and British English, its quite comical.

will that software work on a Quest? the stock mapping software it came with is awful.

Worked on my Quest.

I just updated my Quest with this. Its pretty cool.

I used "Destinator" in my carputer. It has a female speaking UK English. Makes the carputer seem almost like a factory option.
