Well I'm a new disco owner, just picked up a rust free '98 with about 86,000 miles and was pretty happy till I just filled the tank. I got to about 20 gallons and the filler started to make that sound like the tank was getting full and about to auto-stop but didn't, and gas started pouring out from under the truck, near the passenger side. I live about 2 blocks from the gas station, so I chanced it and drove home. The fuel gage took the whole 3-4 min to get to full.
There's no rust under this truck, its been a southwest truck for life. Anyone have any ideas? filler neck or some sort of hose to the tank, maybe?
Thanks for any help.

Filler neck hose or vent, tank is plastic, if it was coming from the tank pull up rear carpet there is an access pannel in the floor

The vent hose to the top of tank 9 times out of 10 old and cracked and leaks full when close to full. You do have to low the tank to replace the hose. Cheers
