Yup, the Saudi's are doing a wonderful job of derailing not only shale oil and fracking but just about every other alternative energy source out there. There are economists who say that the big players in shale oil can bear prices down to the low $40 a barrel range before even they'll have to throw in the towel. Meanwhile, the Saudi's, with their paid in full infrastructure, can sustain prices far lower.

There are those who say that it was the Saudis, Kuwaiti's, ect. who helped us in the downfall of the USSR by suppressing oil prices in the mid 1980's. What's their motivation now? They're hurting Putin along with just about everyone else in OPEC that's not drilling in a desert. What's up their sleeves this time?
