Getting access to Disco Internal Trim Components

So I am trying to route the coax cable for the new CB from the rear to the front on my '03 Disco. I have gotten up in the cable harness area above the rear cargo window and have dropped down thru the 'A' pillar.

Couple of questions of the next steps:
1) How difficult is it to get access to the wire harness that goes thru the back corner between the ?A? pillar and down behind the passenger airbag / glove box? Will I have access if I remove the glove box?
2) How difficult is it to get access to the central console area? I am planning on installing the small CB box (it?s the small cobra CB) back behind the cigarette lighter / center console area. The RAVE CD makes it looks pretty long. I also got hung up on one of the first steps of removing the gear selector knob. I placed it in position 'D' but unsure and how to remove gear selector knob (it didn?t seem to want to twist off like the high/low gear knob).

Thanks again for the help!

If you're talking about the remote mounted Cobra I installed the little box under the drivers seat. It was much easier. You can just extend the mic cable between the driver seat and the console. That way you can run all cables under the carpet and mount the box to the frame of the seat. The center console is a pain to remove. I don't think there is a whole lot of room behind there either. There is a couple of ducts that deliver air to the rear that run through there.
