Tools needed:

Funnel with neck small enough to fit into plug hole
One of those big pencils you see for kids that is 1/2" diameter

Rip the eraser off the end of the pencil, while leaving metal piece attached.
Fill funnel with One Shot
Using the pencil with the end where the eraser was removed from, force the One Shot through the neck of the funnel into swivel housing

I emptied a tube in less than 5 minutes. The last time, I cut the end of the tube and squeezed the crap in. Took forever!

Maybe not the greatest suggestion, but figured I would put it out there.

Somebody mentioned putting the one shot grease pack in boiling water, and it will flow out easier when hot. And pls use gloves.

Well, while pulling the dust shields last night, I checked the swivel balls. To my dismay, there wasnt much that I could see but did discover that the PO had broken off the drain plug on one of the sides so draining one will be impossible without drilling. Fucking previous owners.

Anyway, I checked and I couldnt really see any signs of Land Rover grease, so I pumped a bit of gear oil into each one. I know in '98 the factory switched to grease but I cant empty one side completely and then refill with grease so I just put some oil in there for now until I feel the need to rebuild the swivels and can drill the knuckle. Whats the capacity of the swivels? How much oil should I be putting in there? I will have to monitor it more often since Im using oil instead of grease (there are no leaks really) but am unsure as to how much is supposed to be in there.
