So i guess the "New thing" for kids to do is to "Ghost ride the whip" which basically means you drive your car down the street with a bunch of friends... then you all GET out of the car (WHILE ITS MOVING) and jump on the hood and walk all over the top of your car :ack:

I supposed im just to old to see the fun in it but as far as i can tell its completely STUPID... and these two morons found out the hard way... duh you idiots....

There's plenty of videos of that on youtube. There's one where a guy crashes his lifted truck into a telephone pole because he's out on the hood. There's even one where a rapper is ghostriding a short bus (how appropriate!).

Dumb trend, just like 22" wheels and lift on a caprice.

I once rode on the roof of a Suzuki Samurai at 55mph. I put my naked ass through the sun roof while a cute chick did ....................
I wasn't driving though so im not sure it counts.

I throw up in my mouth a little every time i see those around here.

WOW. First itty bitty wheels that stuck out way too far to these friggin things.

To each their own, but you will never see me near one of those unless it runs into me.

Every generation has its stupid automobile hijinks. Kids got hit by cars doing "Chinese Fire Drills" during my parents generation. My generation, thanks to MJ Fox and Teen Wolf, had vehicle surfing. We had a kid killed in Salisbury trying that.

Well, in one of our first ROAV outings (1976 or so), we did something like this. We came across this huge field on a trail ride. Lined twenty Rovers up, engaged low range, and let 'em go. Some folks sat on the bonnet, others set up law chairs on the roof, with the Rovers trundling along at 0.8 mph. It was kind of like an experiment in Brownian Motion, as the fleet eventually dispersed across the field. This was the origin of the slow race, still a featured event at the MAR....
