Sometimes, there are draw backs to ownership, like during Ice storms I get lonely at work.

Hahaha. Same here. In WNC, if there is even a forecast of snow they shut everything down. Then if we do get snow, I'm the only one at work. They probably say, "Hey, there's that Rover drivin Yankee." "Crazy bastard."

I like snow and ice. That way you can park in the handicap spot and no one knows.

I had the same problem last friday. I drove from home in New Hampshire to work in Mass. I was driving over small downed trees skirting downed power lines even drove over one or two as there was no other choice only to arrive at post to find myself almost alone. The person there was telling those that made it to go home lol.

Haha. That's a great pic. I wish it'd get colder out here. It hovered just above freezing and rained for the last few weeks. Pretty shitty as it ends up turning to black ice over night for the drive to work.

by the "dirty dirty UK" where do you live? I've got family in Somerset and have spent some time in London and Brighton. I love riding the train around the countyside.

I'm living in Cambridge. The countryside is beautiful. It's not really the dirty dirty. But after Mississippi and my initial impression here it seemed appropriate.
