Going to Arizona, this weekend

yep headin there for some football game on Sunday I am staying in Scottsdale and wanted to hear from the crew if there was anything that i must do while there, Friday is wide open so i was looking at doing some tourist shit! Any off road adventure companies i should check out? or stay away from better yet. I am flying in so a rental is in my future. Just looking for some insight form the locals.

How far do you want to venture from the city? Ever been there before?

You do need to see Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon at least 1X in your life. Some gorgeous country. Makes for a long but nice day trip.

Artsy and up that way as well is the "ghost" town of Jerome, Az. It is slowly sliding down the side of the mountain because the undermined the town.

I will be there Monday for about 2 weeks. Avoiding arriving on Sunday for a reason.

I've got a good idea for seeing very Arizona scenery. It would take up a whole day but you'd see two great trails and end up in Sedona. Maybe three. I think I'll need to test it out now and see if it can be done all in one day. I better get my Rover fixed before Saturday then.

Yes i have been to Sedona! came down from Grand Canyon through Kaibab(sp) NF near the ski areas, spent a couple days in Sedona and went over to Jerome, very cool,
I may just take my gps and the rental and just explore.................

how about a worthy bar, or two.............
