Every now and again you come across an idiot on Craigslist.
When shopping around there, just pick up a burner phone and e-mail address. That way you can check to see if something is legit, just in case.
I saw a slightly damaged 88" display the other day, with speakers that screamed when the thing was on, or so I was told, for around $400. Figured it was a scam, but for that amount of money I could actually use it, so I used the phone and another e-mail.
Yup. It was a scam to get you to hit one of those penny auction sites. Still, I've got some pretty crazy deals from people who don't know what's up.
I can't figure that out. If you're capable of posting a Craigslist advertisement, you're clearly capable of researching prices at least on Ebay.
