good/reliable and trustworthy shop in San Jose or peninsula?

I'm in San Jose ca. and need to find a shop (not dealership if I can avoid it) to do a head gasket replacement in my DII '99. What's a fair amount to pay for such job?

Cerrone's European in redwood city is pretty good and has the right tools to dial in the electronics (autologic and etc).

X3 Cerrone's! Tony and Frank (brothers) do a great job. I live in SF and drive down to Redwood City when I need work done. I trust them completely for a great job and service. They are also members of NCLR.
