it's about 30 minutes from my parent's place in bham. i see rock rigs running up and down the highway all the time. i haven't been there yet as i'm not sure which trails are good for the rover or not. morris mountain seems decent too.
Gray Rock is awesome but I am pretty sure you have to rent out the whole park for an event and the guy doesn't have open riding. We went there with LR Bham and it was just us out there and the owner led our group (was about 3-4 groups) in his crawler. You usually have to enter in some type of event to ride up there I think...but they do have some open ride weekends.
