well search on pirate4x4.com or maybe d-90.com and see how many 4.11 and 4.10 gears have failed

in comparision almost no 3.54s fail even though there are many more people running stock gears

Ahh, I was thinking you had a similar experience as me. The 3.54s are much stronger since there are less teeth. If I smoke another R&P anytime soon, I am going to switch back to the 3.54s.

I grenaded 354's on my 97 at a stop sign 2 days before I was to go to Moab. Spent my trip money plus on 411 with ARB's. Broke the rear ring in Moab in March. I am not heavy on the skinny. I did not do anything overly hard or bounce at all. I called Bill and he worked with me. I still have the 411 and ARB's we will see how she does next year. Scary drive from Moab to Denver in front wheel drive. Did you replace with the same? Max

Yeah, I replaced the rear with another 4.11 and another spanky new ARB because the ring destroyed the locker. How many miles were on your 4.11 before it let loose in March?

I had about 20k miles on them and about 10 trails. I have the GBR halfshafts in the rear and stock up front. I thought that my weak point was the front shafts and cv's, guess not Max
