Groups in Boon, NC?

Gonna be moving to Boone/Blowing Rock, NC this Winter. Ive been a Rover owner long enough now to know that Im not going anywhere anytime soon and will probably end up spending my lifes earnings on them. I figured its about time I find myself a group to wheel with. Does anyone know of any in or around that area?

CROC - Carlina Rover Club

Both have events at Uhwarrie National Forest Off-Highway Vehicle Trails, CROC in Spring, and Old State in Late October. Pricing in both clubs is bargain and the events are as well.

There is also a bunch of guys in the area that I met at few events this year that are friends on this Facebook page.

Also, and new group in that area that have experienced instructors and recover specialist formerly with the LR Driving School at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville that just started a new outdoor adventure company, Blue Ridge Expedition, this year, and they are great guys as well. you should go to uwharrie in october(22-24 i believe)..good way to meet people coming from all over the state(as well as surrounding states) and its usually very good wheeling as well.:victory:

Heck, URE is only a couple hours away. It takes me 3 from J-ville.

Yea, Im in Wilm. I would like to tag along, but truck isnt up to par right now. Hopefully just the fuel pump. On top of that, weve got a new addition to the family on the way. I think it would be cutting it close, but well see.
