You happen to know the shelf life and brand of the shell? 12 gauge? I?ve heard of this but very rare. Slug?
It was reloads. It was due to a stout powder charge.

Went through the 100 or so shells that day (had to break the gun open over our knee, but no splitting of the brass). Then backed off the powder a bit - problem solved.

They started assigning stingers to some general quarter stations but that was after I got out. Would've like to fire those. I have a picture of a buddy training with one. I'll have to find it.

Try jumping one in from 800' at 0230

The SMJP made the Dragon look like you were jumping in with a twizzler.

Damn Dragons, thankfully they got replaced. Quite a bit has changed in the MC anti-tank MOSs over the years. The new Saber (TOW replacement) has some great FLIR. Also, day and night sights are integrated into one. Of course the Army has had those, call them ITAS, for like 10 yrs before MC got our hands on it. Javelin has been getting upgraded as well... The 0351 and 0352 MOS changed quite a bit.

AR is a tactical firearm meaning it is easy to accessorize. Assault is an action. Moreover, they are not weapons, they are firearms.

If someone beats a person with a golf club does it become an assault golf club? If someone flies a plane into a building does it become an assault plane?

The left are masters of re-branding. For example, global warming became climate change, and now it's basically been downgraded to extreme weather but the myth lives on for many people so it's a win for the progressives. Another example is how they identify themselves as liberals. Look up the definition of liberal? It doesn't fit, not even close. Who is controlling the argument? Billionaires, millionares, politicians, celebrities, etc... that live in excess surrounded by armed gaurds, nothing like they want for the rest of us vermin.

Has anyone here shot an AR? They are incredibly fun to shoot. What's the harm in that?

Because on 5 or 6 occasions, out of tens of millions of occasions and hundreds and hundreds of millions of rounds fired, some dipshit used them nefariously is what I'm told is a logical reason for banning them.

Dude...

The whole point of a firearm is to put holes in living things.

No, it isn't.

That's one use for them, sure, and maybe even the number one reason for having one (even if it never puts a hole in a living thing) but there are millions of firearms that never put holes in any living things and are still fired and enjoyed recreationally. People buy firearms by the millions and never intend to put a hole in any living thing - only inanimate things.

If I buy a firearm and only intend to ever use it at the range plinking cans, then the point of the firearm is to plink cans and give me enjoyment in doing so.

Lots of nefarious activity occurring in federal government. Need a ban on politicians.

you are right, i am stupider than you.

Yes, you are. I also knew that you'd have a hard time conceptualizing that idea so I'll try and simplify it even more. BTW do you suffer brain damage from all that drinking?
Three revolvers in a bag - with me so far? Is the bag ok or would you like them stuffed in ones belt?
Walk into crowded gun free space
Pull one out - still able to focus or do you need a minute?
Take aim and pull trigger till it stops making noise
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Drop revolver and repeat (Take aim and pull trigger till it stops making noise)

18 victims with 18 shots pretty much as fast as with a semi auto pistol
Get it? Or should I grab some crayons?

And if people who are all out of fucks start inflicting mass casualties in public with sharpened sticks, I'm sure we'll have a discourse about it.

At least 19 people were killed and 26 injured in a stabbing spree at a facility for disabled people west of Tokyo (Jul 25, 2016)

The 2014 Taipei Metro attack was a mass stabbing spree that took place on 21 May 2014, directed at random civilians on a Taipei Metro (aka Taipei MRT) train near Jiangzicui Station, resulting in four deaths and 24 injuries.

.. a terrorist attack occurred inside the Kunming Railway Station in Kunming, Yunnan, China....The incident, targeted against civilians, left 31 civilians and 4 perpetrators[1] dead with more than 140 others injured

A woman was killed and 12 other people injured after a man carried out a knife attack in a mall in a busy shopping district in the Chinese capital (Feb 11, 2018)

Sharp stick attacks happen too.

WRONG. It's happening right now, and none of you people give a shit.

That's one reason I know people don't actually care about gun control, school shootings, or crime in general.

Cheers,

Kennith

Your 3rd example doesn't cite the method, but even if it was a knife that's like 60 people worldwide in 4 years with a 1 year interval on average.

Are you really comparing that favorably with shooting death stats from this country alone?
