Just gonna throw my 2 cents in. I run mtr's on a D1 and run 50 to 55 on the road. A tad rough but better fuel econ. I run around 20 off road but it is mild to moderate stuff. After about 40k mi. wear is pretty even and still have acceptable tread depth left; eyeball, not guaged.
ok thanks i understand. the mechanic who put em on said they are "flat". i told him to set at 50 out fo the gate for on road. i was maybe gonna adjust em from there for on road. and obviously to 15-20 for off.
That's a good starting point. IIRC, I ran mine at 48 psi. It was still harsh with OME heavy duty shocks and springs. But the truck was more responsive and felt a little faster. Adjust from there according to your preference and tire wear.
