it's the bottom of the 9th and i need some good, creative ideas for Friday night. though i would enjoy it, but they need to remain somewhat "clean" ideas. it is a pretty upscale party and i don't want to get the boot first thing.

both Sarah and i are going. and the idea of her being a shepherd and me being a lamb are not happening. or that costume of that guy with the inflatable sheep. not happening either.

would prefer something pretty simple and not too labor intensive.

i liked my idea of being DSL and Sarah being Cable. cheap and easy! something we can both go as together is good. killing two birds with one stone.............wait.........that is a costume right there.

i have gotten a few good ideas from others on this board already. keeping those in mind.

What happened to the bacon wrapped dog?
You could always break out the scrubs and go with the old dr. standby like me. I think my wife is going to hook up with some Greys Anatomy refrence, but I haven't been informed which dr. I will be playing saturday night.

that of course is still an option. was trying to think of something as a pair. oh i guess she could go as the pan of grease.

Why not go as hick farmers? "Seeds" so to speak? You know, like American Heritage? Or how about Scarecrow and Crow? (you could be the scarecrow with VERY LITTLE makeup!) If you REALLY want to have some fun, go as a scarecrow upside down! Dress your legs as arms, and jeans over your arms with your head in one of the legs with one of the arms (holes for eyes/nose in the pant leg) Then you hang a scarecrow head from your groin (again, not alot of makeup needed here studmuffin!!)

You'll have the best luck looking like a pair at an upscale party if you just buy a couple of custumes. Never fails.

all good ones! i was thinking of kinda making fun of everyone there without it being obvious. this is big time fox hunt country. i mean we will some of the youngest people there.
the party is being hosted by the Lerner's........who started Cisco Systems. they are pretty cool folks, but i have a feeling there will be lots of stiffs there.
i don't mind going as some up tight rich folk.

Make masks out of photographs of the people who will be hosting the party you're invited to. Enlarge the photos, glue them to cardboard, cut into face shapes, and cut holes for your eyes. A rubberband stapled to the mask will hold it around your head.
