I am probably going to trade this in, and only getting wholesale auction price for it, which is what I'll probably do, but if I can get a little more out of it and avoid dealing with it, I'll sell it to someone who wants it I'll just pay off the balance with cash (definately upside down in it).

Description:

2003 Land Rover Discovery II S
Epsom Green over Bahama Beige
82k miles
4.6 ltr V8
No sunroofs = no leaks, and durable leatherette interior is a plus for off-roaders!

The good...
I bought the car down in Florida and it's really pretty clean. It's got recent Goodyear Wranglers, 791 OME springs, OME Nitrocharger shocks and steering stabilizer, dba long-life rotors, Expeditionware xtra long stainless steel lines, Ferodo pads, brass diff plugs, hood black out, extra long ABS sensor wires (in case you want to go taller), new logos and plastic fender protectors, full rubberized mats. Original mats (in perfect shape) also included.

Really just needs sliders and some basic diff guards to be ready for serious fun!

The bad....
Needs a head gasket on one side. Leaking oil. Could be just the valve cover, but I'm pretty sure it's the head. Car actually drives perfectly fine though.

Needs two O2 sensors. Not really driving it now to keep from clogging the cat. Car will not pas emissions because of the O2 sensors. And, I also have a noisy lifter (some knocking). All seems to be on that one side, so I guess that's good news? I also get three amigos often, but from reading on this forum, that's a standard feature on the D2!

I really don't have the time or patience to deal with it anymore. I'm just looking to get over what trade in value is. I'll take $6,500 obo. Make me an offer. With a little bit of your work, this can be a great rig to go for many more miles.

Email me at dan@automationarch.com or you can call me directly at (770) 757-6996. Vehicle is being sold 'AS IS' and there are no warranties.

Photos to come soon.

It's exciting to see that Land Rover people think so highly of their marque (note sarcasm).

I actually really love the size and look of the vehicle. I just need something more reliable and less costly to maintain. I'm a business owner and that takes up about 90% of my time. I don't want to spend the other 10% under my vehicle.

I've currently got a $5k offer for it from a Jeep dealer (which I'll likely take if/when they find me a Jeep that fits what I'm looking for). So, I'm currently entertaining SERIOUS offers north of that figure.
