Saturday afternoon, after finishing up the brake lines and driveshafts on the Series, I had one of those... very nice. Will have to add it to my beer rotation......

I called my dad on Sunday, and he told me he'd just been released from the hospital! Spent 4 days there last week with pneumonia! He said he didn't want to tell me earlier because he didn't want me to worry! We had a nice conversation and he seems ok, but it sure did freak me out. Talk about getting smacked in the face with mortality!

Hope all you dads had a good day! If you're sick, call your kids and let them know how you are. Believe me, they will want to know.

I cleaned the house and then cooked my kids a big meal. I don't think they're getting the whole Father's day thing.
They did get me Shaun of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead on DVD in a 2 pack so that's cool.

We went to the air museum with the family and then came home for some good BBQ that my wife had ordered.
Then gift time and I got a new 9000XDi winch
Not a bad day at all.
