No one has done this, so I will.
Happy new year to all you old freaking land rover enthusiasts. Been here for 24 years now, feeling really old. Not doing anything unusual to my vehicles and now looking for an L405 for the wifey.
In 2023 I sold a '98 D1 LSE, '01 H&H P38, F350 Crew and E350 Handicapped van. We thought that we needed the van 4 years ago when doc said wife would be crippled or dead in a year. She has a 450lb electric wheel chair that goes 6MPH and has never been used other than for fun.
Well.... she is still alive and walking with the dog and walker 3 or so miles a day. She has CIDP and has been near death 3 or 4 times, gets infusions each month, learned how to walk as many times as she has been near death.
She is now able to eat solid food again after about 8 months on a feeding tube. We are blessed, pray a lot and think about many people that have impacted our lives over the years and some you, believe it or not have impacted me. Most of the people I have met in person from DWEB are long gone from here and some have passed.
Perhaps someday I will be fortunate enough to meet some of you while I am still able.
