Trip 1 to Albuquerque dealer:
Took into the dealer with hard start. No codes or info on dash.

No codes pulled from the truck.

Put fuel pressure tester on and saw loss in pressure from fuel pump. Fixed, no reoccurrence of hard start at dealer. 100 dollar deductible paid. Drove off and no problems.

Two days later in Colorado Springs:
Hard start happens again. Code pulled EGR valve stuck open. Thermostat replaced. 100 dollar deductible paid grrr... (because it is two different issues?)

Drove to Monument to climb... hard start again... back to dealer next day. Coolant temperature sensor fault pulled. replaced sensor. (almost had to pay for that one but Curtis was working with me)

That was 1 week ago. No reoccurrence of issue. Driving to LA in two days.

Dealers were great! LR extended warranty sucks. Oh well, 200 dollars is better than the 1100 clams I would have had to pay.

If you get the same issue, use this and it might save you a couple of trips to the shop or you can order all of the parts at once... All would be easy to replace by yourself.

Cheers!
