Be forewarned the light output is worse on the newer style lights.... And they melt with higher wattage bulbs

I have high powered bulbs and a HID conversion...have had so for 3 years or so and mine haven't melted. Mine is an 03

It can/has been done. It didn't take me long or cost me much, but I wouldn't do it again

I had one that was full of water. The previous owner was too stupid to put the bulb cover back on correctly. I emptied the water out and twisted the cap back on securely and it never filled up again.

I've had both stock d1 and d2 glass headlamps fill with water too, it's not just the plastic one

That's why you just drill a drain hole or two at the bottom...damn near a necessity on the turn signal lamps!

Just bake, clean and reseal them. My headlights collected condensation when I got the truck, not anymore.
