Hey guys I have these plastic pieces that get held in with the plastic pegs with a washer/nut thingy. Mine are intact but if they break in the future does anyone know a way to keep them attached to the headliner. 20230608_190505.jpg20230608_190502.jpg

I literally went through re attaching those pieces to my repaired headliner yesterday.

There isn't really a good way to keep those nubbies from breaking other than being real gentle when you take them apart. All of this plastic is getting so brittle now. One of the challenges to keeping these things going.

3D models to print out to replace everything would be awesome.

(imagine how bad this is gonna be 10-15 years from now when people are asking about how to do this for their plastic intake manifolds)

reverse casting out of silicone then resin casting is the way to go if we ever run out of interior parts.

Alisport makes metal intakes if that ever really becomes a problem, but as long as the squirrels dont chew it up the airbox is probably good for a couple hundred years
