headliner question

How many different styles of headliners are there? I thought three (no moonroof, metal moonroof and glass moonroof). Are there multiple metal moonroof headliners?

I have a '90 with a metal moonroof and got a new headliner that was from a metal moonroofed RRC, yet the opening is larger in the headliner than the metal moonroof (not just by a trim piece width either), yet the opening is not quite as large or in the exact location of a glass roofed RRC. Thoughts?

different year model? IIRC* there were different size moon/sunroof's but I am not 100%.

That is what I am trying to determine if there were different sized metal moonroofs. At this point, I believe that there is...

I'd be willing to bet that the headliner you have that doesn't match up is from an early NAS Range Rover that had a dealer or aftermarket sunroof installed. From what I have seen, the 1988-90 metal sunroof in the same size. IIRC there was no sunroof in 1987.
