Heated Windshiels

Hi, can anyone help me stop the heated windshield from coming on automatically? 2010 LR4

why would you not want the heated screens to come on? and, why can you not just turn them off when they do come on?

I wasn't looking for a way to disable it, just stop it from coming on automatically while I sort out a voltage issue. It looks like it can't be done though. I have removed the relay for now. Thanks.

gotcha. i'm having an issue with the passenger side burning up the fuse in the engine bay.
