HELP!!!! D2 Ignition lock cylinder (D2)

My ignition lock cylinder on my 99 D2 is been feeing crappy lately and today when I was trying to go home from work the key would not turn the cylinder. How is the wiring setup to the ignition setup to bypass this with a push button start? I've heard of it being done, Just need to know what to cut and splice? Thanks a ton everybody!:applause:

Mine gets like this from time to time. I would spray some WD40 or something in it. Funny thing is that Rover ignitions like the key to be pushed in a little then turn it. All my other cars the key just turns.
