I must confess that I'm not the best with tools, but after reading all the posts here I worked up the courage to tackle a simple spark plug change on my 2001 D2. FYI, the truck ran fine, but at 95k miles, it was time for some maintenance.

I disconnected the negative lead from the battery.
Carefully pulled out the rubber boot from the plugs.
Replaced with Champion 3318s (Kragen computer showed these to be the replacement for my D2.
Anti-seize compound on the threads to ensure I can take them out later.
Tightened with finger and then roughly 1/2 a turn more.
Put the rubber boots back on until it 'clicked'.
Reconnected the negative battery cable.

When I turn the ignition, it cranks but doesn't start. Also, hazard lights come on automatically and I can't turn it off unless I disconnect the battery again.

Did I mess something up? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
