'90 RRC, 4.2 just installed with 4.2 ECU. Got the timing set up and started her up. Issues are as follows:

1. Coolant tank (new, white) and top radiator hose pressurized big time. When cap removed from tank, a strange vapor is coming off of coolant and it smells like gas. From what i have read, this is either a pourous block or headgasket correct?

2. There is a ticking noise coming from the top end. Prior to starting, I packed the oil pump as suggested in FSM. I loosened the top oil cooler line from the radiator and ran it briefly and oil went everywhere. Additionally, the oil pressure light is not on in the dash. Can you see oil flowing through the fill spout on the drivers side head when running? What is the proper procedure for determining correct oil pressure?

3. The Service Engine light is on with a buzzer and it will not quit chiming. There is no codes on the readout below the passenger seat. Would this be caused by the ECU swap? Any other way to determine what is causing this fault?

Thanks in advance,
Spencer
