I need some help with my 1991 Great Divide Rangie. The heater blower motor is bad and I need to source a new unit. My repair guys said its a whole lot easier replacing the entire unit instead of pulling it apart and repairing it so I'm trying to find the entire heater unit. Does anyone have one they will sell or know where I can source one? Roverland in Tampa is out. AB doesn't have any nor does Roversnorth. Where else can I look? I appreciate any help I can get.

Keep in mind a used unit will have a used motor that will fail. Sure you want to do this again down the road? Trust me I've replaced mine and it's a bitch.

I second this. Replacing a RRC blower motor is nothing to take lightly. And do the heater core while you're at it.

PT Schram has the replacement blower motors and probably the heater core, if not BritPac has it. If you want to save time you can get a used heater box and rebuild it, then swap with the bad unit in the truck. I've done it twice. I'm selling the truck before I have to do it again :D

Also agree. New is the way to go.

But if he's really cheap so is mine - and it's not original, it's a replacement with low time on it. :)

I didn't want to do it on my TDI swap truck so badly I decided to swap a 2004 disco dash and full interior into it. Ha ha. Really.

Thanks for all the input guys! I've decided to rebuild a unit that was given to me, remove the current one and install the newly rebuilt one. And yes, the heater core will be replaced also. When I researched it I got everything from 3 hours to three full weekends for the removal and replacement of the heater unit. I am very lucky to have three super high end Land Rover mechs who will do it for me. Most of the interior is out of the front end anyhow. So, I will post some photos once we get into it. Thanks again for all the input!
