A friend is selling his 92 Range Rover, 2" RTM springs, 32" tires, etc. I am trying to get an idea of what it is really worth. He has replaced all of the following in the last year.
Radiator
RS9000 shocks, RTM coils and cones, 2" body lift
brakes and rotors, extended brake lines
y pipe, cat and exhaust
coil and rotor
black steel 15x8, plus 32x11.5 ProComp Mud Terrains, plus the original alloys
heater core
alternator
stereo, suspension bushings
at this point it needs a new rear tailgate, and a passenger seat switch.
This will be a daily driver briefly, then it will be a weekend toy. I am comfortable doing mild repairs on my own, and I already have a 99 DII so I know how Land Rovers can be in terms of cost.
The question is, do you think 5k is okay, too much or what? I did not want to sink a ton into this right up front, since I will need a new bumper and sliders. I already have a winch and all the other goodies from my Jeep I would sell, so talk me into it please.
