Well I just took the door panel off and found the source of my problem, my window regulator is bent up pretty badly. I just got off the phone with the dealer and they want 1.5 hours labor at $90/hr and $150 for the part.

I looked up the part at AtlanticBritish.com and they have the part for $89.

Is this something I can do myself ( I am not a mechanic, but do reasonably well fixing small things). Does anyone have any directions or friendly advice?

Thanks in advance

I just replaced mine about a month ago and I thought it was very easy. The only thing the manual helped me with was taking the panel off. A previous owner really screwed the thing up so I was pretty much on my own. You really don't need the book for this project. Just look at the part and where it goes and it's pretty easy to figure it out. No worries.

. Just be sure that before you take the part out, you take a mental picture of how it goes. It will make your life a whole lot easier.
