Was installing my GPS earlier today and while myself and a friend of mine was running a USB cable under the carpet we found out that everything under there was damp.

How the hell is water getting up under there? Yeah I do off road it and go through deep water and such, but none of it has ever been deep enough to flood through the bottom of the doors. What needs to be sealed up to prevent this? :banghead:

what side, driver passenger both? you check to see if it's the heater yet? If it is both side could be the wind screen. I know my floor is wet when it rains hard. Max

Well the only side we pulled up was the passenger side. I don't know if the driver side is the same way or not....

But... now that you mention the wind screen might be the problem that makes me wonder since just recently I had it replaced. Maybe they did'nt seal it up good or something. I'll certianly be checking that.

Hmmm... Texas? I've been running AC here a few times this last month in CA, have
you? The drain tubes for the AC system, underneath & on sides of bell housing do get clogged with crud (D1)- happened to me. Condensation backs up and weeps out ...

look in the technical service bulletins on the bottom of the board to find some good reference material to read

You just need to crawl under the car and on either side of the transfercase are two oddly shaped drain plugs for the AC and if they get clogged up with mud or other stuff it will back up into the floor boards and ruin the carpert if your not careful. Poke around on them and they will release the water and there you go. But stay away from the water it smell pretty bad. Cheers
