hex head bolt

I found a black flanged hex head shoulder bolt in my driveway the other day. 7/16 x 2-1/2. 14 tpi. That is measured to bottom of flange to end of threads. It has an "S" and "204" stamped in the head.
I dunno if shoulder bolt is the right term. It does have a shoulder, about 3/4" of a shoulder. Yes, i have looked under the truck; but don't see anything missing.
any ideas?
Part of a head gasket kit left behind? That is what the top of bolt looks like, and i had head gaskets done bout 4k ago. I hope it is not off my truck. just got me a lil shook when i found it. jhk

sounds like a used head bolt.they get replaced with the gaskets. someone prob left one of the old ones in the engine compartment and forgot about it.
