Yes, I have it on the front of my 99' Disco II. It looks pretty good and the wing nuts are large enough that you can hand tighten the top clamps enough that the jack doesn't rattle. I put mine on the top rather than the front. I didn't want to make the front any longer than it alreay is. Just make sure that you use the provided velcro strap to secure the jacking bar. For 20 bucks, it worth buying and having it look good than trying to make your own.

I finally gave in and bought some coleman racing brackets. They are a little pricey, but they are nice, and they look good! Also, if you take the jack off for extended periouds of time, the brackets come off really easy!
